Fashion Trends: Colorful Prints

Color me happy. Prints, patterns, color are making a strong appearance across the fashion arena. I love it. Print mixing, layers upon layers, and big sleeves lead by some amazing fashion icons (to name a few of my personal inspirations): Jamie Meares, Bri Emery, Ashley Streicher, and Pernille Rosenkilde. It is for the BOLD.

I often sit in my bed at night thinking about the glorious outfit I’ll wear for tomorrow’s adventures…and then I wake up, and I wear an outfit I’ve worn a million times before. Does that happen to you?! I want to take more risks with my outfits, but I often have little energy in the morning to actually do it…and I think, “Well, I’m just working from home and maybe doing some returns later…” After I pay my trillion dollars in taxes in April and refill my bank account, I’m going to hire Melissa de Leon Styling to help me out. Have you ever used a stylist for your personal wardrobe? I think the outside perspective will inspire me with new ideas, help me see what I’m doing right and how I can push myself a little more.
