Fall Wardrobe Essentials
October. My favorite month. Not because it's my birthday month, but because it is the quintessential month of Fall. September can't make up its mind as to whether it wants to be warm or cool; and Fall officially begins at its end, so September can hardly represent the season. October, however, is when the weather really starts to turn. Pumpkins, turkeys, and fall foliage hit the grocery stores and farmers markets. You can grab anything you want in pumpkin flavor from the obvious coffee to the not so obvious dog treats (because your dog looks forward to pumpkin spice season all year...). And, we all seem to get the urge to bake pies, wear plaid, put mini pumpkins on our desks, and start playing Christmas music. That last one is really just that one guy in the office...You know who you are. Stop it.
Now that Fall has officially begun, I am ready to update the wardrobe with new trends and seasonal essentials: the duster coat, anything velvet, and a collection of bandanas. I've rounded up some pieces I wish were in my closet right now...
