Work Style: Jackets & Blazers

Most girls collect shoes. I collect jackets and blazers. And, yes, I need more. My absolute favorite blazer is a bright orange jacket from H&M I bought a few years ago. I wear it all the time. I whip it out for every first interview or professional meeting. It brings me good luck. I promise. I can wear a pair of jeans and a white cotton shirt, throw on my orange blazer and some heals, and instantly have a business casual outfit. It is so easy and comfortable! And - this is probably too much information - when I sweat in it, the perspiration doesn't bleed through to the exterior part of the jacket. It. Is. Magic. Here are blazers I'm currently coveting as well as looks I plan to copy.

CLASSIC BLACK
CLASSIC BLACK

Just like a little black dress, you can never go wrong with a classic black blazer. I love both of these looks. The addition of a blazer and heals to a t-shirt and jeans brings an everyday outfit from casual to professional.

Crisp, clean, chic. A white jacket can give a tailored, designer look with little effort. It is the perfect blank canvas to create an outfit consisting of all whites, white and cream, white and black, white with pops of color, and so on. Plainly stated, white goes with everything and looks great on everyone. In my humble opinion.

P.S. How amazing are the floral jeans with white blazer above?!

I fell in love with these two looks when I first saw them. They are fun and easy. Floral jackets and blazers add color, pattern, and personality to your outfit. Wear them with solid colors or go bold by mixing patterns. A floral jacket paired with a black and white striped or polka dot shirt? Go wild!

Share looks you love that include a blazer or jacket below. I'd love to see your outfit inspiration! Where do you buy your blazers and jackets? I love H&M, Target, Zara, and thrift stores.

XOXO, Rachel
