Laura Kirar Guernica Lounge Chair by McGuire Furniture - Yay or Nay?

I saw this chair on Instagram a few days ago, and I'm still not sure how I feel about it. I don't  like fringe in fashion, which you see a lot of these days, especially on bathing suits, so when I saw this fringe chair, I didn't even know what to think. However, my mind keeps meandering back to it...

It is the Laura Kirar Guernica Lounge Chair by McGuire Furniture. "It requires 3,500 holes to be placed through the honeycomb caning, then the artisan uses a custom-made needle to place and knot the contrasting smooth and textured leather laces of varying lengths to create the fringe." Wow!
